Our Chefs

Tinky

Tinky moved to the Uk, with his wife and two young children, from Hong Kong and joined us in June. He brings with him 17 years of experience, most of which was gained in the kitchens of Michelin starred restaurants, including the last 8 years in one of the world's greatest hotels, The Peninsular', in Hong Kong, known as the 'Grande Dame of the East'. He has introduced us to different flavours, styles of cooking and innovation - we are lucky to have him with us here and he brings humour, experience and creativity to our small kitchen

Liam

With almost 10 years' experience, Liam joined us in October after spending 8 years at Gibsons' Grey Lady, one of the best known and highly regarded restaurants in the county. Liam's youthful passion for cooking and invention add invaluably to our small, dedicated family and to our commitment to produce top quality food at accessible prices.

Our Menus

We’ve had a great deal of time (!) to work on our food offering and have got some cracking new plates of food, from our ‘Monkfish and chips’ (excellent with a glass of chilled Minuty Provence rose) to a fabulous dry aged fillet of beef – cooked exactly how you like it and well suited to a glass of Mendoza Malbec. There are seasonal favourites as well as a few surprises. Don’t forget steak on a Wednesday and seafood and wine offers on Thursdays.

Samples of our menus can be found below. Although they do change pretty regularly,  this gives you a great idea of the balanced content and style of food.
