Great Food in Quorn: Our Menus

Our menu is always changing and evolving, as we take into account our customers’ feedback, seasonality and the skills of our family of talented and experienced chefs  . You can see what’s currently on the menu down below. The Monk is all about dining in a relaxed, cosy atmosphere. Everything on the menu is made fresh, in house and we source locally, wherever possible.

How Our Menus Work

We like to switch it up through the week to keep things interesting. It might be a bit different on the day but it always looks something like this:

Tuesday to Thursday: Prix Fixe

We open up the week with our prix fixe offerings. Our standard 2 and 3 course menu runs Tuesday to Thursday. It’s a fixed price of 29.5 for 2 courses and 35.5, for 3. There are some a la carte favourites, as well, for modest supplements.

For the meat lovers, you’ll want to join us on Wednesday for an additional steak menu. –with paired wines chosen by Simon. On Thursdays, it’s seafood, including fresh colchester oysters and even small servings of caviar

Friday & Saturday: Á La Carte

For the weekend we shift over to the a la carte menu. This is French for “whatever you fancy” (sort of). Here you might find just about anything available–your chance to be a bit adventurous and maybe even try something new.

Sunday Lunch

Winding down at the end of the week–and preparing for the next one? On Sunday, we’re open for lunch–done right. It’s a particularly busy day, so please do book in advance. We’re open from 12-4pm for lunch before closing for Monday.

Book Your Table

Give us a call on 01509 412222 if you’ve got any questions or want to book a table–otherwise, you can do so through our online booking system above. The Monk is a family-owned fine dining restaurant in Quorn, and we can’t wait to see you!

A few notes on our menus and booking:

We welcome children, though we do ask that our younger guests order from the main menu as we do not have a separate children’s offering. We do smaller portions of our Sunday roasts at a reduced price for children. We kindly request that our guests do not bring their own food into the restaurant, this includes birthday cakes, as we provide a birthday plate, free of charge on the day.
