We are a very small, family owned and run, independent restaurant and bar, set in a beautiful, thatched 16th century cottage in the middle of Quorn. Conversation, good food, a classic and quirky drinks lists, a ghost and some cracking wines await.

our new menus for spring finally launch on the 9th april, after a huge amount of debate and tasting.our prix fixe menu runs from tuesday to thursday, with steak on wednesday and seafood on thursdays. at the weekends we switch to a la carte on friday and saturday, often with daily specials, then on to lunch on sunday.
our menus can be found below, though they may differ slightly to those on the day and may change from time to time and without noticewe welcome children, though would expect our younger friends to order from the main menus, as we don't have a separate children's offering.
as we are a very small, intimate venue we are sadly unable to accommodate babies or toddlers in the evenings; though all are welcome on sundays.
opening hours
everyone is welcome to pop in for a cocktail, beer or glass of wine, though, in consideration of our neighbours, we do close our doors to walk in customers at 10:30pm. We absolutely love dogs, though we are just too small to accommodate them comfortably!!
