Yes - we’ll always do our best to seat you.
But if you’re not a fan of waiting or watching someone else tuck into their grub while you hover, a booking is your best bet! Book here so we can ensure that we have the perfect space ready and waiting for you when you arrive. -
Of course — just a heads-up, we no longer serve drinks at the bar itself, as it blocks the entrance. If there’s space, we’ll happily seat you for drinks. Our heated and covered courtyard is perfect for a relaxed sip (or three), with full food and drink service available — or you can simply unwind with a glass.

Yes - just choose the ‘inside out’ when booking. This is our covered courtyard. To see pictures click here

Whilst we want you to feel comfortable, we kindly ask that guests avoid caps, sports shirts, and athletic shoes — they don’t quite match the mood we’re curating.

We offer adaptable dishes for vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free diets.
If you have a severe allergy, please note that while we take the utmost care, our kitchen handles a range of allergens and we cannot guarantee the absence of trace elements. -
Sundays, absolutely — it's family day, and we love to see the little ones.
During the week, though, we keep things a bit more grown-up: think slow sips, good food, and a calm atmosphere. While we kindly ask that little ones aged 0–4 sit the week service out, well-behaved children are welcome however. We don’t offer a separate kids’ menu, so we ask that younger guests order from the main menu.
Please note: We have a limited number of high chairs available on Sundays, and no dedicated baby changing facilities. -
As much as we love a good boy (or girl), we’re just a bit too intimate to host furry friends. Sorry, we know — we’re the worst. We’ll try to make it up to you with excellent wine.
-
Due to strict allergen guidelines, we’re unable to allow outside food — but don’t worry, our chef’s on hand to whip up a complimentary celebratory plate (complete with candle). Just let us know what you’re celebrating. And if you’re after something sweet, our homemade desserts are well worth saving room for.

As a Grade II listed building, we're limited in the changes we can make for wheelchair access — much as we'd like to. However, we do have a few ground-level tables near the bar that may be suitable, and we'll always do our best to accommodate your needs.
* Please note that we do not have accessible washrooms

We accept cash and all major debit and credit cards — except American Express (the fees are crazy).

No, we pocket them and spend them on... life-sized cutouts of Jason Momoa. (Just kidding — we only need one of those.) Of course, all tips are split between the hardworking staff on duty — it truly takes a team effort to make your experience unforgettable.

Yes, we do! Just ask your server for the details.

We're conveniently located next to a road with parking, if you're lucky enough to snag a spot! Just across from us, you'll find the village car park.
There are 12 parking bays on Station Road in front of the shops, offering free 45-minute short stays. The rest of the bays in the car park are also free, with no time restrictions

Only if it’s glowing. (Kidding… mostly.) We welcome all feedback — even the brutally honest bits, so we can iron out any blind spots. Bonus points if you use words like ‘sublime’ or ‘life-changing. Head over to Trip Advisor here.

We get it — plans change. All we ask is that you let us know as soon as you can, so we can offer your table to someone else.
Unfortunately, due to a few past no-shows, we now require card details to secure your booking. It’s just a pre-authorisation — no charge is made unless you cancel late or don’t show.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of your booking will be charged £10 per guest. No-shows on the day will be charged £20 per guest.
